Labradorite 16" Seed Bead Necklace Easy Fast Fun For Beginners-Advanced
Directions: Tear off one-inch piece of tape. Take one end of bead wire and place last half-inch of wire, centered on tape. Fold tape over so ends meet and wire is in the fold of the tape. (see Dia. A) ![]() Put on circle part of clasp, and a crimp. Do Not crimp yet. String one seed bead and one Labradorite saucer. Repeat pattern till you reach fifteen and three quarters of an inch, ending with a seed bead. String on a crimp, and bar clasp, to equal 16 inches, (see Dia. B). Do Not crimp yet. ![]() ![]() ![]() Pick up taped end, and hold wire between thumb and forefinger just below tape. With other hand grasp tape between fingers and slide tape off. Lift this end up so beads slide down and settle. Now repeat instructions from the previous paragraph. Do Not Crimp yet. Pick up circle clasp and slowly lift up un-crimped end, let gravity settle beads. With flat nose pliers grasp the tail and pull down slowly bringing beads closer to the crimp. Do Not pull too tight. Necklace should be flexible. If strung too tight give back a little wire by setting necklace down, hold crimp down and pull clasp away from crimp. Move the crimp up a little closer to clasp. Make sure to leave space between crimp and clasp ring for movement, (see Dia. F). Crimp and cut off wire tails flush with side wire cutters. Tuck tails in next bead to conceal.
